I joined the MMSC in September 2008 after attending the third year curry hosted by the charity. I thought that it was a fantastic idea to allow Manchester students and new students from St Andrew's to socialise outside of hospital. The MMSC is an exciting charity to be a part of as there is so much scope for new events and fundraising ideas. I feel closer to the local community through our donations and potential volunteering opportunities and enjoy organising events, such as quizzes and revsion days, that are open to all medical students

Welcome to the MMSC website - packed with news, info, student forums, uploads and heaps more stuff to browse at. Our charity is completely student run – that’s right, we are in charge! Our aims are to raise money for smallish local charities, through a magnitude of different events, and give a little something back to the local community. It’s a great cause and we urge you all to come along to our events. If you fancy getting actively involved with a bubbly group of people, you're more than welcome to attend our weekly meetings. We put the fun in fundraising!
