The MMSC Committee
President
I joined the MMSC in September 2008 after attending the third year curry hosted by the charity. I thought that it was a fantastic idea to allow Manchester students and new students from St Andrew's to socialise outside of hospital. The MMSC is an exciting charity to be a part of as there is so much scope for new events and fundraising ideas.
Vice President
I am the Vice president for this year! My job is to help Lily organise everything and to help things run smoothly. I got involved in the charity at the end of my 3rd year after being impressed at the OSCE revision sessions that the charity organised and was keen to be more involved.
Treasurer
I’m responsible for looking after the money we fundraise through our events, and getting sponsorship from external companies. Being part of MMSC is a brilliant opportunity to get involved in a variety of events, and the OSCE revision days are always a huge success.
Secretary
I am the secretary for the MMSC. I've been a part of the committee for the past two years now and really enjoy it. I joined as was impressed at the idea of providing revision sessions for the Manchester students at the same time as raising money for really worthwhile local charities, benefitting both groups at once. I'm social sec for this next year. It's my job to organise the annual mummies and daddies pub quiz and revision sessions, and there iss plenty more in the pipeline!!

I'm the Phase 2 coordinator for the MMSC which means I sort out things for the 3rd years and 4th years, particularly the OSCE revision days. I got involved with the charity because I thought it was a really good idea to fundraise on behalf of a small charity.
